Wonderful spot worth seeking out. Our first visit here was at the end of a light rainy day and the staff was incredibly friendly. Food came out fast and was a good value. We had the goulash with polenta and their special which was mushroom and polenta followed up with a homemade berry cake.

One week later and after trying several huttes, we longed to come back here and scheduled one of our last remaining hikes to be in the area. Being a much warmer day, we immediately ordered the blackberry spritz made from their homemade syrup. Light and refreshing with low alcohol. We started with the cabbage salad followed with their fried eggs, bacon & roasted potatoes. Additionally we tried the goulash again but this time with their bacon dumplings, great flavors all around and our dog can attest it was a hit! We look forward to coming here again on a...

We stopped here during our hike across Alpe di Siusi, and it was one of the highlights of the day. The setting is idyllic—surrounded by mountains, fresh air, and a cozy alpine hut atmosphere.

The goulash with polenta was absolutely perfect: hearty, rich, and full of flavor, the kind of dish that feels like it was made for hikers coming in from the trail. To make the experience even more memorable, we enjoyed a delightful conversation with an Italian couple visiting from Tuscany, which added such a warm and authentic touch to the stop.

If you’re hiking through Alpe di Siusi, Heualm is the perfect place to take a break, enjoy local cuisine, and soak in the alpine...

Better than we could have possibly expected. I hosted a group of 30 or so mountain bikers for a birthday and it was the perfect venue for that. The hosts took great care with decorating our tables, serving a specialty cocktail and a Speck & Käseplatte. The soup was great, as were the entrees and the fried dessert. Hospitality was amazing and truly speaking the prices were very fair. If I could give them 10 stars I would. That you Andreas and...

A wonderful jewel in the valley, delicious local fresh dishes, try the nettle dumplings on pickled cabbage salad. Unreal! Add a Seiser Alm Spritz to it with a beautiful view, quaint cabin, friendly staff and it’s a top experience!
