Ristorante Giapponese Ran — Restaurant in Samarate

It's a nice place where you can have Japanese / Chinese food in a very cozy environment. The Japanese food was great, everything was delicious and the service was nice and kind. I highly recommend this place for lunches ( they have lunch options to save some money than the regular menu) or for dinners where you have access to the table in the private rooms ( access is available also for lunch but for dinner the atmosphere is for sure better ). Japanese / Chinese menus is huge with a lot of dishes and options. We opted for the Japanese food section for 80% of our choices, and everything was well made in decent times even though I saw just one guy for lunch for the sushi preparations, He was pretty fast, and everything looked great. Chinese food came directly from the kitchen in half of the time than the Japanese food. Fried rice and Udon were really appreciated as well from who opted for the Chinese food section. I was happy to return to this place after a lot of years finding that the quality of the food in this place remained at a high level, as I remembered. The prices, in my opinion, are humble alligned to the quality and type of the food, and this is another plus to return in this place again, even if we ordered directly from the menu without taking advantage of the lunch menu options. If you like good Asian food and you're not enthusiastic about the AYCE (they don't have this formula), this place is highly recommended. My only regret was that I didn't take at all pictures of the uramaki rolls and the sashimi we ordered or the udon or the fried rice. Su consiglio di amici andiamo in questo ristorante. L'aspetto esteriore è decisamente trascurato sia all'esterno che all'interno dove l'ambiente non è particolarmente pulito. Il menù non è molto chiaro a livello di ingredienti. Abbiamo preso dei ravioli alle verdure dove all'interno c'erano degli spaghetti di soia che non so oggettivamente cosa c'entrassero (ci è venuto il grande dubbio che fosse un riciclo). Abbiamo preso anche dei ravioli ai gamberi che erano molto buoni. Di secondo abbiamo scelto del fritto misto di pesce che era pastellato tipo tempura. C'era un gambero, 5 pezzi di surimi, due anelli di calamaro, e 3 gamberetti per ogni porzione. Decisamente deludente. Probabilmente funziona molto bene con l'asporto o quei box enormi con il sushi di cui noi non andiamo matti anche se amiamo molto il pesce.
