Under the Tuscan sun. If you’ve ever longed to wake up in the quiet splendor of the Tuscany, overlooking rolling hills, meticulously tended vineyards, olive orchards, roses, and fields of lavender, then look no further than the gracious Castello Di Gabbiano in the Tuscany. This historic castello is an elegant jewel. Cyprus trees line the long winding drive, their massive stature a mere reminder of welcoming travelers throughout history. A classic pebbled entrance gives way revealing the majestic manor, guarding as it has for centuries, over a vista of endless vineyards. Aged brick and stone facade, climbing ivy and perfectly lined terracotta planters spilling over with crimson red geraniums bathing in sunlight, their delicate charm and grace invite you to explore their peaceful domain. Waves of fragrant lemon and orange trees are the first to welcome us into the grand foyer followed by the radiant smile and a warm greeting of Miss Barbara. She was delighted to give us the tour of the main house, library, dining area, enchanting grounds, private pool, and more, ensuring we felt welcome from the minute we arrived. The staff were warm, friendly and always accommodating, breakfast fresh daily and delicious, wine tasting with Cosimo, a great experience. The guest accommodation (we requested the Bossconi, a private apartment detached from the main house) was the definition of a cozy, Tuscan farm house and exactly the experience we hoped for. Craftsman, rustic farmhouse furniture, romantic canopy bed, crisp Italian linens, fully equipped kitchen and an unexpected surprise our apartment had a washer, which was perfect for our expended vacation. A chilled bottle of Prosecco, 2 glasses and a handwritten welcome note awaited us as we entered. Every detail thoughtfully presented. Tuscan charm at its finest. Quality accommodations, cleanliness, efficiency, price, detail oriented and international traveler friendly, Castello Di Gabbiano is the real deal. If you’re searching for the traditional Tuscan Villa and vineyard experience - PIN it and put it on your list! So much there from good food, some of the best shops, violinist in the square & the famous Gelateria Dondoli (It's worth the wait & moves fast, there’s a QR code in the front of the building to preview flavors before you get up to order & be sure & get your pic/video made with the gelato guy in the purple apron & purple glasses yelling, "Gelato"!). So much fun!|* Do the famous S-road if you have a strong stomach. Read moreWe had our whole wedding weekend in Castello di Gabbiano in August 2024 and stayed in with our family and friends for 3 nights. First time we saw the venue, we were shocked with how it has 360 views of Tuscan hills, very rare in Tuscany from other venues we visited. Since we started planing our wedding with our wedding planner 10months ago, Barbara and Theresa were always reachable, reliable, responsive and clear with what they can and cannot provide, costs, deadlines and always to the point communication. They delivered 100% everything was promised. When we were in Gabbiano, they personally welcomed our guests and helped them to settle as fast as they can.
The venue itself, honestly we have no words we have been travelling our whole lives and we haven’t seen something like this. All our guests were amazed with how magical, romantique and unique the Tuscan views from Gabbiano are. The rooms are so nice, renovated, modern, have A/C in hot summer Italian days. It is perfect place for weddings as you can accomodate up to 42 people including the apartments they have next to the castle. Pool area was perfect for our welcome party and also daytime pool time for swimming and gatherings, their garden was perfect for our reception dinner and side/front for ceremony and cocktail hour.
We just want to deeply thank you to all the team for making our best days even more unforgettable. We will be back for our anniversary see you in couple of...
