Il Pontile — Restaurant in San Donato Milanese

Breakfast: decent cappuccino and croissant. Nice, quiet atmosphere, mostly old people and a few young professionals/students tapping on their laptops (this place has wifi, but you have to ask for the password).

Lunch: interesting menu with several options, from antipasti to pasta, meat and seafood. I tried the gnocco fritto, which was honestly disappointing (the salumi that came with it were quite tasty though) and the grilled sea food which was pretty good, considering the relatively low price and closed with a tiramisù which was delightful.

All in all the kitchen is nothing special, but still good enough to enjoy your meal, the atmosphere is very nice and quiet, the service is great and the view of the small lake is lovely. Absolutely family friendly with lots of space inside and outside for your kids to run around.

Small-scale eatery across from a serene pond and green space. Indoor or al fresco dining is available. One of the better places that serves seafood around Milan. Excellent prosciutto and prawn dish. Come before sunset to enjoy the water view...

oggi come mi ero ripromesso sono andato a mangiare al Pontile il nuovo bar ristorante presso il laghetto di san donato milanese in corso europa. Mi sono trovato bene: buono il servizio gentili e premurosi ed anche veloci tenendo conto che c'erano 2 tavoli con compagnie numerose. Le carbonara di mare ottime ed anche le verdure grigliate buone. acqua due bicchieri di vino e due caffè il tutto 35.00 euro in due. Mi permetto un consiglio: cambierei i tovagliolini con un tipo più pesante e grande in particolare per quando si mangia piatti così succosi e per il vino mi lancerei con bicchieri più da vino/degustazione. per tutto il resto bene spero che...
