Ristorante Pizzeria Mare Caldo — Restaurant in San Fermo della Battaglia

Food was great! Lobster pasta was super flavorful and had an actual complete lobster! It looks very impressive, but may not be suited to the people that don’t like cutting lobster by themselves. Pizza was good. Very big portion (look at the size of it compared to my hand!), crunchy crust, and I saw that it was made from a real wood-fire oven which is great! I wish the pizza had more toppings.

Service was alright, nothing much to say about that. Atmosphere is mediocre, there was flies hovering over my food through the entire meal, and the interior of the restaurant is not cute or aesthetic. But this town is quite rural so that...

This place was our first stop on our first trip to Italy, and the fabulous food and fun attempted conversation with the couple nearby made it magical! The spaghetti carbonara was out of this world and the Quo Vadis pizza was thin and yet juicy and succulent. The mixed salad had wonderful mushrooms and very tasty croutons, lightly dressed. The pizza is very thin and quite crunchy, oval shape. Very good and tasty. Fritto misto is delicious, grilled calamari incredibly yummy. The list of the dessert is not bad. We had dinner in the patio, outdoor, overlooking the church. It is recommended to book a table. There is no parking in front of the restaurant, but it is plenty of free slots next to the pharmacy.
