Altezza Winery — Restaurant in San Gimignano

OMG! Stop what you are doing and just make a reservation for this winery! We were visiting San Gimignano and wanted to stop at a winery on the way down from Florence. We sent an IG DM and within minutes, Andrea responded saying they could accommodate our light lunch! Andrea and Carlo provided us with an amazing four course lunch (our best of the trip) and wine tasting experience along with it. Andrea let us pick our seat from multiple beautiful terraces! Not only, did we try the best wines of our trip, but we also had the best views! What a wonderful find!!! We did a wine tour in Chianti Classico the day before, and this winery was better by 10 fold! I am dreaming of the soup and wine! Thank you Altezza for the most memorable experience...

It was an absolute pleasure and blessing to have met the twins at Altezza. We want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for the most magical and amazing experience that they have provided us with and that they made us feel right at home.

Cinque stelle! 5 stars! I am a tough cookie to please and this place impressed. We booked a late lunch/wine tasting and what we got was a gastronomic experience which will remain with me and my daughter forever. The food was sensational and perfectly paired with the wines. The wines were outstanding and just kept coming. The view from the balcony where we ate was magical with post card views of the beautiful San Gimignano towers. Best of all was the service . Outstanding! It's hard to say which of the twins did a better job..
