During my recent trip to Italy, I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria dell'Usignolo in Ghezzano, and it was an experience to remember! Tucked away in the charming Tuscan countryside, this restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a truly authentic Italian dining experience.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. However, the highlight of our visit was dining outside in the atmospheric garden. Surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature, we enjoyed our meal under the twinkling lights and the beautiful Tuscan sky. Il viaggio nei sapori di 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗮 è quasi giunto al termine. Stasera siamo 𝗮𝗹𝗹'𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹'𝗨𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼 a circa 10 minuti di macchina dal 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 di 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗮. Una curiosità sul nome del locale? L'uso iniziale dell' edificio era  quello di un convento. Nel '600 la via si chiamava via dell'Usignolo.

Il giardinetto che conduce all'ingresso, dall'aspetto intimo, è molto eloquente e sembra dare il benvenuto all'autunno con le composizioni di foglie  imbrunite e il colore caldo della mise en place. Inizialmente entriamo nella sala principale e stiamo per accomodarci a un tavolo, quando ci viene proposto di valutare un altro tavolino in una saletta molto intima, dall'arredamento rustico, dove  un solo tavolo una cantinetta e un camino ci fanno sentire a casa.  Accettiamo la proposta al volo. La cena quasi completamente a lume di candela diventa un caldo abbraccio in attesa di assaporare le prelibatezze del posto. Il menù scritto a mano introduce la totale artigianalità dell'osteria. Gli antipasti della casa sono un mix di gusti ben selezionati e di carattere. Le polpettine al limone sono davvero speciali. L'aroma del limone era in perfetta armonia con la carne. I grissini di accompagnamento appena sfornati,  con una maionese all'aglio e un bel mix di pani anch'essi fatti da loro,  arrivano quasi in contemporanea con gli antipasti. Abbiamo ordinato una tagliata di fassona  con contorno di patate al forno e cappella di porcino alla piastra e uno stracotto al Chianti con cicoria ripassata. Lo stracotto si scioglie in bocca e la tagliata servita correttamente su un piatto ben caldo si tagliava con la forchetta. Ma passiamo ai dolci. Anch'essi sono fatti in casa, semplici ma buoni al palato.  Una torta al cioccolato e una panna cotta alle amarene sono la nostra scelta. Il personale è cortese,  dedicato al cliente e il servizio è veloce e organizzato.  Il rapporto qualità prezzo è  equilibrato  per la qualità della materia prima e del servizio. ...
