Ristorante La Torre Bibione Pineda — Restaurant in San Michele al Tagliamento

Looks great, bad food, terrible service.

At first glance when looking in it seems like a nice capable restaurant. Unfortunately good looks is the only thing they are capeable of.

When we started ordering drinks the waiter was very engaged with me and asked if i'd like wine or something else to drink, my friend could not have been ignored more. When i asked for a bottle of wine he asked if we need 1 or 2 glasses which i responded with 1. He then immediately ran of to grab the bottle to show me without asking my friend if she wanted anything. Whenever he came back and i decided on just a glass of wine instead he then took the bottle back and we waited for his return again. Whe he came back the second time he then finally glanced over to her asking what she wants too drink.

Please first finish ordering and THEN fetch the wine it feels like you are ignoring your customers if you only engage with one person.

This might just be me but when it comes to ordering food. I order what i order, dont try to upsell me listing other dishes and sides.

I was very suprised how fast our food was served. We got our drinks when i started smoking a cigarette and before i was done the food got served. It does make alot of sense once you taste it though. The Lasagna was lukewarm and tasted like its been frozen before. The spaghetti carbonara taste like my moms! After i reheat it in the microwave for the 5th time... We asked for the bill, which totaled to 40€ for horrible food, 1 glass of wine and water. Im not stingy but paying 5€ service fee is quite high considering...

Unexpected very bad experience... Walking on promenade with my wife and kids we came in to get some deserts. We came to a nice table, and one of the waiters told that it is reserwed. I asked where it is mentioned and why there us no reserved sign installed. He cant reply but another waiter told at this moment that thus table is free. In 5(!) minutes we got menu in English... More than 15 minutes we were awaiting for placeling an order. I order 2 fruit salads for kids and teramisu for my wife. No drinks, just deserts. In 10 minutes (yep, 30 min lost, multiply 4 people equals 2 hour of lifetime total!) a waiter came back and told that they cant serve deserts without dinner and we should go away. He did not told his nane, even I reask him twice. Qyite young, like 25 y.o, black hair. Timestamp: 20:00, 9 of August 2023. There was some queue on entrance at this moment, so making such unrespectful things, the management politics is make money only, get more profitable customers right now. They do not mind about loyalty, even severals days ago we spent mire than 100 euros for pizzas and drinks there. Never again,...

Hadn't been here in a while but since the renovation its had a glow up !!!

The Staff are super friendly (and also very child friendly) and try hard, one can tell that some are new to high dining which they try to to attain here service wise and are getting trained well!

The fritto misto was great, so much seafood and not only calamari and shrimps but different fish as well. The batter was perfect not to thick and it was crunchy and not soggy. Some very thin parts were a little dry but thats contributed to the amazing mixture of foods with different textures and thicknesses and totally fine of you put a little lemon on it. The portion was also big!! The Pizza was good as well thin floor and nicely prepared.

Thanks for having us! We definitely will come again...
