Qcècè SocialCafè — Restaurant in San Nicola Arcella

After reading the views we were a little concerned however we didn’t let it prevent us from going here.

Overall the experience was great, staff were all friendly and understanding when our Italian wasn’t great.

The food was awesome, I got the meatball burger and they were possibly some of the tastiest meatballs I’ve had, plus the bacon and thick slice of cheese made the burger go down a treat.

The burgers came with a side of hot home made chips (Some of you might refer to them as crisps), they were a great addition to an already great burger.

The music and decor inside was on point with it having a very retro/vintage feel and the music was all 00’s RnB bangers.

My only complaint would be the lack of ventilation in the venue so it got quite hot in this summer weather. But I’m not going to be petty and take a star off just for that.

San Nicola Arcella, perla del Tirreno, non è solo Arco Magno, Arco di Enea, Baia Azzurra e costa mozzafiato. San Nicola Arcella è borgo meraviglioso, capace di racchiudere eccellenze storiche e artistiche che arricchiscono gli infiniti vicoli del centro storico. Ed è proprio in questa suggestiva location, nella caratteristica e centrale Piazza Altieri, che nasce il Qc’éc’e, il valore aggiunto di San Nicola. Un locale con la Q di qualità, che rappresenta il modo nuovo, e certo, di proporre le prelibatezze calabresi. Albino, l’inventore, lo chef, il padrone di casa e, soprattutto, ricercatore attento, ed esperto, di materie prime e di ingredienti e prodotti superlativi, si affida ai suoi “scrigni “, fragranti panini e pite leggiadre, rigorosamente home made, ove racchiude i suoi grandi tesori, squisitamente amalgamati con fantasia, nello scrupoloso rispetto dei punti cardine della cucina calabrese. Ogni sua proposta è, naturalmente, contraddistinta dalla Q che, per me, come dicevo prima, non può che significare assoluta QUALITÀ. Il Qc’éc’é è anche un originale Food Pairing, con drink ben fatti, capaci di tradurre botaniche ed essenze delle pluripremiate distillerie calabresi. Anche la cantina dei vini si ispira a vitigni nobili di questa stupenda regione. A tutto ciò, bisogna aggiungere una menzione speciale al Qservizio, anch’esso meritevole della Q di qualità, con i garbati e sempre attenti Giovanni (mitico), Luigi & co. A San Nicola Arcella, insomma, un locale che ben rappresentata la bellezza e la bontà culinaria della paradisiaca...

A good place for hamburgers, pork sandwiches, meatballs, or chicken cutlets, either on a roll or pita. The staff was able to provide me with a vegetarian plate with various cheeses, fried mozzarella, grilled zucchini and eggplant, chips, with bread. It was very good. Some of the wait staff speak English which is a big help in understanding the menu. Lots of beer, wine and cocktails to choose from. And there are several options for dessert.
