An amazingly creative, delicious dining experience in a tiny village of the beaten path. Well worth a detour. Owners Emilio and his brother bring local produce and wines to create daring dishes that let the flavors shine. They change the menu every four months but the menu includes room for the chef to be spontaneous with the ingredients that are fresh each day. Start with a heavenly pizza bianca topped with oregano and light and crunchy as a potato chip, but far less greasy, with a chewy crust. Go for the fish or meat tasting dish which are a full meal unto themselves. We stupidly also ordered incredibly delicious mains — lamb loin with delicate zucchini perfumed with mint and long cooked pork cheek that melted in the mouth — because we simply had no room left to eat them.
