Stopped for pizzas last night and, although it was quite late, the lovely people there were more than happy to serve us 4 delicious pizzas. My Italian isn't great but the delightful lady hosting did her best to make us welcome and completely understood our requests for the two vegans in our group. The pizzas were all delicious and fresh with perfect bases and crusts. It's always busy which is very telling. Lovely clean interior of traditional stone and arches with tables outside for dining in. Great pizza here! We are foreigners and trying to read the menu, but when Vincenzo saw us struggling, he gave us an English menu. Every pizza we tried was delicious! He makes the dough by hand using a special 3 day recipe that makes for an excellent crust. We also enjoyed eating outside on the patio, and the regulars there were very kind asking where we are from and sharing their favorite pizza with us. The food here is quite good, but unfortunately, the service could use some improvement. It seemed like local patrons were prioritized in the queue, even though I had placed my order earlier. I was told I’d have to wait about 20 minutes, but ended up waiting for 45, while locals who arrived after me and ordered at the cashier were served first.
