Restaurant Il Ficodindia is beautifully located in a small green oasis, with modern and high-quality decor. The premises are exceptionally clean, and care is taken to maintain this condition. Pleasant background music creates a relaxed atmosphere without disturbing conversations. Guests quickly feel comfortable and valued, especially those seated in the garden under the picturesque olive tree, which provided an excellent experience.

The service at Il Ficodindia was excellent. All waiters and sommeliers were extremely friendly and courteous. Orders were taken and served promptly without appearing rushed. The staff was very attentive, skillfully anticipating needs and questions, ensuring everything was available, and maintaining a tidy table without it becoming cluttered.

The menu leaves nothing to be desired, offering both classic dishes and modern variations. The presentation of the food was tasteful and modernly interpreted. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, reflected in the excellent taste of the dishes. We enjoyed two appetizers, a first and second course, and two desserts, accompanied by sparkling wine for the appetizer, white wine for the main course, and Marsala to finish.

The price-performance ratio was reasonable. The prices reflected the high quality of the food and the excellent service.

We had high expectations about this place, but our experience here was mostly disappointing. If we read other reviews in advance, we would skip this place.

Half of the stuff was unfriendly and mean, especially the owner/hostess. Some of the items in the menu were missing and we weren't informed about that in advance. The menu has a qr code, which leads to the online version of the menu with pictures, but prices in it differ from the paper menu.

The beer was delicious (some of them were also not in stock), but the food was very average. We ordered steak with medium doneness, but it was well-done, so we had to ask for a replacement (second attempt was fine). There was very little fish soup and it was in the baking film, which was very strange.

Try to read other comments and make your own opinion, but I personally can't recommend this place.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Italian restaurant in Italy. The service was extremely unfriendly, especially the hostess. When I ordered the fish soup, expecting it to be as generous as it is everywhere else in Sicily, I was served three spoonfuls of broth wrapped in foil, which was very unappetizing and inconvenient to eat.

My friend ordered a medium steak, but it was served well-done. They replaced it, but insisted that in their opinion, it was still medium.
