Cafe' Du Centre — Restaurant in Sanremo

We stumbled upon this little gem in Sanremo while waiting for our car rental, and what a happy accident it was! Right in front of the rental place, this charming restaurant welcomed my husband and me like old friends. The owner was incredibly friendly and pleasant, making us feel right at home from the moment we stepped in.

We ordered a couple of fresh, flavorful salads and finished with a tiramisu that was absolutely to die for. Every bite was perfection — the kind of food that makes you pause and just enjoy the moment. The whole place had such a relaxed, vibey atmosphere that we almost forgot we were only killing time.

Do una stella perché 0 non ne possono dare. Serata pessima, purtroppo il lavoro del bar non è per tutti, e si vede. Trattate male già prima di mettere piede nel bar, facendo richieste semplici del tipo “una persona celiaca può mangiare qualcosa all’interno del vostro locale?” All’inizio, un po’ scontrosi alle nostre richieste, volevano farci pagare come gli altri un menú da 25€ (noi avremmo mangiato come accordato all’inizio una semplice farinata e dei würstel ) con la motivazione che bloccavamo una sala da 30 persone (essendo effettivamente in 30 e solo in 3 senza glutine). Lo spritz preso era a metà e il cibo non ne parliamo. Pagato 32€ due spritz (perché uno non bastava) e del cibo purtroppo scadente.
