A Cuvea — Restaurant in Sanremo

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. 29.07.25 Das Essen war überhaupt nicht lecker. Außerdem wurden wir betrogen – man hat uns zwei Menüs berechnet, obwohl wir nur ein Menü bestellt haben. Der Kellner hat darauf bestanden, dass alles korrekt sei und dass er nur das abgerechnet hat, was wir bestellt hätten. So wurden wir um 26 Euro betrogen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen – nie wieder und auf keinen Fall weiterzuempfehlen!Etwas zu beweisen war unmöglich, er sprach sehr schlecht Englisch. Und er hat sich einfach umgedreht und ist weggegangen. Und das war nicht nur ein Kellner, sondern der Chef des Restaurants. Wir sind dann zu einer Kellnerin gegangen, die Englisch sprach, aber sie sagte nur, wir sollen zu ihm gehen – er sei der Chef.

Very bad experience. 29.07.25 The food was not tasty at all. On top of that, we were scammed – we were charged for two menus even though we only ordered one. The waiter insisted that everything was correct and that he only charged what we had ordered. As a result, we were cheated out of 26 euros. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant – never again and definitely not worth recommending! It was impossible to prove anything, as he spoke very poor English. He simply turned around and walked away. And it wasn’t just a waiter – it was the owner of the restaurant. We then approached a waitress who spoke English, but she just told us to talk to him – he was the boss.

Esperienza molto negativa. 29.07.25 Il cibo non era per niente buono. Inoltre siamo stati truffati: ci hanno addebitato due menù anche se ne avevamo ordinato solo uno. Il cameriere insisteva che fosse tutto corretto e che aveva addebitato solo quello che avevamo ordinato. Alla fine ci hanno truffato per 26 euro. Non posso assolutamente consigliare questo ristorante – mai più e assolutamente da evitare! Era impossibile dimostrare qualcosa, parlava un inglese pessimo. Si è semplicemente girato ed è andato via. E non era solo un cameriere – era il proprietario del ristorante. Siamo poi andati da una cameriera che parlava inglese, ma ci ha solo detto di parlare con lui...

Good, very inexpensive local cuisine. Their best, in my opinion, is the 'trenette alla ligure' which is basically the original Genoese pesto with bits of boiled potato and green beans. Smother it with parmesan. Delicious, authentic dish and so nice to find the original! Their 'ravioli alla salvia' are also very good. Second courses are a bit hit and miss but generally good, though not exceptional and sometimes not hot enough. Desserts are all home made and very nice in the simplicity of Ligurian cuisine. Wine, water and coffee are all included in the price. All in all, a very satisfying and extremely well priced restaurant but not to be used every day for a week as...

Taste authentic meals at reasonable price!

We found this restaurant by chance while walking. During the lunch time, it was really busy, no tables available, but after waiting for 20 min we got our table. So I advise to book in advance, even for lunch.

We ordered the lunch menu. 16 euros for: water, the 1st dish( primo potato), a glass of wine, dessert and a coffee.

I ordered pasta with olive pesto. Very delicious.

Another menu of 20 euros consists of the 2 dish ( secondo), water, glass of wine, dessert and a coffee. Tuna was delicious.

All the desserts are really good.
