Chez Antoine — Restaurant in Sanremo

AMAZING!! This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who owns the salumeria in Marcato. What a recommendation! The food is twice as good and half the price of ANY tourist restaurant closer to the beach. The experience was so good we returned the very next evening. My mother, born and raised in Sanremo, hates eating out. She is never satisfied with anything. After the first evening she said, “we’re coming back here tomorrow. I would eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here”. The ONLY thing that could be considered a negative is the outdoor seating is very loud due to the proximity to the tunnel entrance. We had pizza, primi, secondi and deserts. All were perfect. The pizza was cooked perfectly in a wood fired oven with wonderful ingredients, well proportioned. The pasta was cooked properly al dente and the sauces were flavorful without being overwhelming. The meat dishes were mostly meat and a full portion, unlike most other places. Most other restaurants in the tourist areas geive you a few grams of meat and the rest of the dish is mushrooms and sauce of some sort. The homemade bread was great with a slight sour dough flavor or some other natural levain process. Deserts tasty and coffee well made. The thing that floored us was the price. Three people, including wine cost less than 40€.

INCREDIBILE!! Questo ristorante mi è stato consigliato da un amico che possiede la salumeria a Marcato. Che raccomandazione! Il cibo è due volte più buono e la metà del prezzo di QUALSIASI ristorante turistico più vicino alla spiaggia. L'esperienza è stata così buona che siamo tornati la sera successiva. Mia madre, nata e cresciuta a Sanremo, odia mangiare fuori. Non è mai soddisfatta di nulla. Dopo la prima sera ha detto: “torniamo qui domani. Vorrei fare colazione, pranzare e cenare qui”. L'UNICA cosa che potrebbe essere considerata negativa è che i posti a sedere all'aperto sono molto rumorosi a causa della vicinanza all'ingresso del tunnel. Avevamo pizza, primi, secondi e deserti. Erano tutti perfetti. La pizza è stata cotta perfettamente in un forno a legna con ingredienti meravigliosi, ben proporzionato. La pasta era cotta correttamente al dente e le salse erano saporite senza essere travolgenti. I piatti di carne erano per lo più carne e una porzione completa, a differenza della maggior parte degli altri posti. La maggior parte degli altri ristoranti nelle zone turistiche ti offrono qualche grammo di carne e il resto del piatto è funghi e salsa di qualche tipo. Il pane fatto in casa era ottimo con un leggero sapore di pasta acida o qualche altro processo naturale di levain. Deserti gustosi e caffè ben fatto. La cosa che ci ha sconvolto è stato il prezzo. Tre persone, compreso il vino costano...

Ich kann nicht anders, als Chez Antoine in San Remo wärmstens zu empfehlen! Dieses Restaurant ist ein wahres Juwel und bietet das beste Essen, das ich je erlebt habe. Die Pizza ist einfach himmlisch – der Teig ist perfekt knusprig und die Frische der Zutaten schmeckt man sofort. Jeder Bissen ist ein Fest für die Sinne!

Der Service ist ebenso vorbildlich; das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und wie ein Teil der Familie. Die Gastfreundschaft hier ist wirklich außergewöhnlich und macht den Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis.

Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und einladend, ideal für ein romantisches Dinner oder ein Treffen mit Freunden. Alles in allem, Chez Antoine ist nicht nur ein Restaurant, es ist ein Ort, an dem man großartige Erinnerungen schafft und köstliches Essen genießt. Ich kann es kaum erwarten...

One of the best restaurants we’ve been to in Sanremo. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Nothing to complain about at all. Would come back here any time. Might need to book a table to avoid...
