Our meal at Ristorante Il Rustichello in Poggio was nothing short of spectacular.

Nestled in the charming town of Poggio, this restaurant combines rustic charm with a culinary experience that will leave you coming back for more.

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the friendly owner who made us feel right at home.

We started with stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed sardines, both beautifully prepared and bursting with flavour.

For the main course, the crab pasta and Tuna steak was exceptional and perfectly cooked.

The Bolognese was a hit with our 2 kids with the freshest of pasta and the best bolognese sauce we've tasted.

We paired everything with a refreshing bottle of white wine from the local region, which complemented the dishes perfectly.

To top it all off, the chocolate & pistachio mousse and affogatos were divine!

The owner was a lovely lady, the atmosphere was cozy, the food was top-notch and the views were stunning.

Highly recommend a visit to anyone in Poggio or the area. We caught a train and a taxi from Nice and was well worth...

It was really great to have the lunch and feel itself about Sanremo.

We searched the restaurant near Sanremo outlet and couldn't expect any good restaurant just before our lunch, but here was the really best restaurant to fulfill our requirement.

We visited here around 1hour ago, just before lunch break, but restaurant owner and chef warmly greeted us.

The food was really nice (unfortunately, no picture 😕) and owner provided the picture kit and yellow balloon to greet my kid ^^ She was really kind ever 😃

I am not sure when I can visit Sanremo again during my life, but I hope that this restaurant should be...

Delightful hostess, charming restaurant, so friendly, so very helpful, good English (thank-you), food was fabulous. Tartare Carne di Fassona, was amazing, just melted in one's mouth. So tender. Frittura Calamari, excellent, tender, delicious and copious amount to eat. The Tagliata di Angus was superb, the seasoning on the outside was delicious. The fried potatoes, well, what can you say, fried in olive oil and herbs, amazing. Ohhh, forgot, the Tapenade to start with your drink is local and fabulous. If you can, request a table by the big window with a view over the bay of Bussana, do so, a treat.

Absolute hidden gem, the best food in my trip. I had beef on a bed of rockets with the best french mustard of my life. Desserts were very special. The service was so high quality our waitress gave us food options in English when we couldn't read the Italian. Prices were expected given the high quality and service. There are even single use toothbrushes in the bathroom in case something gets stuck in your teeth!
