Thymus — Restaurant in Santa Margherita Ligure

This is something for people that likes fancy champagne style and meet other people with luxurious taste.

Unfortunately the taste was not high of the food, atmosphere low, overcooked tagliatelle, super small portions. Fake smile from the food boss (I noticed after he passed our table).

We where almost leaving when it took ages before any menu came and we just had got water (there was only a few tables occupied at the moment). But nice people as we wanted to behave and we stayed.

The girl served us tried her best I believe, but where obvisouly under control from her manager.

We didn’t even get one slice of bread per person and payed 4 euro coperto, also for most of the kids.

(I have been several times in Italy and been eating at many places. No other place I have experienced with so low output for the many. Note that we normally avoid stiff and snobby ristorante in this style normally, but most places nearby where closed at this occasion. Maybe it fits some other...

Invitato per un compleanno,conoscevo già il posto avendoci mangiato con la precedente proprietà. Location suggestiva,niente da dire. Do 3 stelle perchè ci hanno fatto accomodare in una veranda esterna chiusa semplicemente da teli di plastica,quindi non proprio adeguati per il periodo (Febbraio),e la temperatura non era delle migliori. Comunque,dopo esserci messi sopra qualche giacca in più ci viene servito il bollito data che la serata prevedeva quello. Altra pecca è che nel "pulire" il bollito i camerieri purtroppo portavano 3 porzioni alla volta perchè quella era la loro velocità (ma poverini,erano giovani e magari non proprio navigati) e quindi è successo che tra le prime 3 porzioni portate al tavolo e le ultime 3 portate agli ultimi sfortunati,sono passati praticamente 25 minuti. Quindi quando metà tavolo aveva finito di mangiare,c'era l'altra metà che doveva ancora incominciare. E preciso,eravamo in 15,non in 50......
