We visited La Bisteccona on our way back from Etna. The trattoria has an amazing atmosphere, and the hosts are very kind and helpful. Since I barely speak Italian, it is usually hard for me to order meals but here we were just sure anything we'd take would be awesome. We were not mistaken. The meal we had was the best one on our trip across Sicily (and we were in good restaurants before). I took a veil steak (I don't remember the Italian name), my wife took another type of meat with grilled vegetables and my two daughters took two kinds of pasta. Everything was just delicious. The food here is absolutely amazing. So good in fact that we went twice during our trip. Be sure to get the antipasto sampler - it comes on a board the shape of Sicily and has lots of tasty items! Everything our party of 8 was fantastic - both times. I didn't decrease any stars because the food was so amazing, but the second time we went the waitress did not have as much patience with us and we had an odd experience at the end of the meal where we were interested in dessert, but she never came back.
