Pizzeria La Vigna — Restaurant in Scansano

I was travelling through Italy for above 2 weeks, I was in many places including Sicily and ate a lot of pizzas, but this pizzeria… it is out of our world, at first it looks like a cheap business, but after max 3 minutes you will smile to yourself when you notice it’s a family business not pointed to get as much your money as possible, they are doing dishes with passion and love, family photos, real smiles, older pizza man looks like in heaven when he is preparing your pizza, and he is doing your pizza on your eyes behind a glass. I felt there not like in restaurant or pizzeria, it was like to go at the finest to your friends in close neighbourhood! Amazing place! Food is great, honest tasteful food, house prosecco great. Service was great, ladies were so nice, working so hard and still having their smiles on! We were sitting below the wine grapes, surrounded with the smell of the herbs, and enjoying the scent of the wooden fire for prepayhe food from the kitchen. Atmosphere was great! When we saw how many locals are eating there, we knew that's the right place. Food was so good, there wasn't even time to take to photos! 😁 definitely...

Wow just wow! The most authentic pizza experience of our lives. Staff was pleasant and attentive and the food was simply divine. If I could have just one pizza for the rest of my life, it would be this place.

We had the diavola and the pear/Gorgonzola… both were amazing. We heard the deserts were great too but we didn’t leave any room for them because the pizza was just too good.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
