Ristorante San Pietro — Restaurant in Sesto Calende

Zero stars!!! They say they close at 1500 but we went at 1330, lady had no interest to look at us because busy playing with dog inside restaurant. We asked if lunch available was was told rudely no, kitchen closing. It is 1330! We go back again, this time at 1320. Restaurant only had 3 occupied tables (2 tables were paying) so place was 90% empty. We asked for table and lady rudely said no she is busy. Busy? A joke. We left. It was also quite dirty, several tables used for personal papers and used water bottles.

Restaurant has poor service, unwelcoming, complete disinterest in cooking. I would never recommend anyone to look for this small, dirty place. Walk down from there to river for a better, place.....see my other review!

Qualche giorno fa abbiamo avuto un’esperienza tutt’altro che positiva in questo ristorante. Il cameriere è stato più volte indisponente nei nostri confronti nonostante avessimo cercato di essere gentili e le nostre richieste fossero ragionevoli. Abbiamo chiesto la possibilità di spostare il tavolo leggermente perché il posto dove era stato messo il seggiolino per il bimbo era al sole e ci è stato risposto che dovevamo chiedere prima di poter stare all’ombra. Sono seguite frasi polemiche del cameriere ma noi abbiamo lasciato perdere per non rovinarci la domenica al lago. A noi è sembrato ci fosse posto sufficiente all’esterno per posizionare i tavoli mantenendo le distanze previste dalla normativa. In seguito abbiamo chiesto quali fossero i piatti senza latte e derivati per un bimbo allergico e il cameriere è sembrato scocciato per la richiesta. Abbiamo preso un piatto semplice di pasta al pomodoro che era salatissima (quasi immangiabile) e di scarsa quantità. Anche gli altri piatti che abbiamo ordinato avevano porzioni modeste. Non potevamo andarcene perché i bambini erano affamati ma un po' di savoir-faire, o quantomeno di educazione, ritengo sia un requisito imprescindibile del mestiere di ristoratore. Eravamo già stati altre volte in questo ristorante ma non ci torneremo e non lo consigliamo...

They have really a good food, tourist must try, it looks really they been long in the business and their food is already tested!

Their staff is also nice and friendly, the ambiance is like you are at home, the surrounding will speak for itself how hommie is...
