Locanda Le Fate — Restaurant in Smerillo

Came here for Sunday lunch, encouraged by the on libe reviews. We were not disappointed! Lovely, traditional Italian food and a delightful waitress who went out of her way to tell us in English what was on the menu. Really must remember to only Primo OR Secondo because we really can't manage both! Started with a large platter of cheese and cold meats to share and the tagliatelle with mushrooms then followed by roast pork and salad. All delicious and over generous! I finished off with a meringue semifreddo. Really lovely atmosphere. Looked like just a small local bar but we did notice a larger dining room inside so maybe gets busier in tge evening. Leggendo i tanti commenti positivi, ci siamo fidati. Non so se la gestione é cambiata dagli anni passati, ma queste le problematiche riscontrate ad oggi: locale in pessimo stato, molto sporco, ragnatele in bagno, tartaruga a lato dei tavoli, intonaco rovinato e cadente in alcuni punti, bicchieri anni 80 e piatti rovinati. abbiamo mangiato con 4-5 vespe all'interno del locale (presumibilmente c'è un vespaio da qualche parte vicino alla finestra) servizio lentissimo (entrati alle 13 usciti alle 15.30) menù proposto dal ristorante con: antipasto salumi e formaggi, tagliatelle funghi porcini (surgelati, ho visto il sacco dentro al congelatore del bar dove tengono anche i gelati) e grigliata mista, é risultato scarso di quantità e mediocre nel gusto. personale nel complesso gentile.

Pulire il locale e fare dei piatti più abbondandi da locanda, sono aspetti fondamentali che non mi avrebbero fatto fare questa segnalazione negativa.
