This has to be one of the worst airport experiences I've had so far. Malpensa is a big airport, yet people don't seem to be speaking English at all. The staff were rude. I asked for the vegetarian options, the lady couldn't understand me at all. The other lady kept throwing words in English to the lady, who was serving me, instead of answering my questions since she seemed to understand English well. Next thing, I waited 20 mins for three items. Everyone was given a tray, while the lady passed my croissant wrapped in a tissue into my hand! They also ignored my foccacia. I had to point out that the item was missing, and the lady looked at my receipt for 2 minutes like she couldn't believe that I really ordered the foccacia. Avoid this place...

I ordered a coffee and another item. I paid with card and it said approved on the card machine, so I thought I could step out of line and that everything was alright. But I needed the receipt to get a coffee, and when I asked for the receipt she forgot I paid and she said that I didn’t pay. So I show her that it got withdrawn in my bank app. And then she said that it’s not paid, even though I just showed her proof. Bad coffee and dry sandwiches. Sandwich was sloppy and dry. I had to put it back together to eat it. I ordered a Caffe Machiato but the server took it down as a caffe only. When the shot of espresso was given to me, I explained that I order a machiato but the girl just looked at my coffee and shrugged.
