Il Cavolo a Merenda ristorante pizzeria — Restaurant in Sommacampagna

We arrived late from a walk down the mountain and this restaurant was the only one left serving. And they had at their kitchen but we kind enough to rustle up a VERY large lasagna for us anyway. Prices are on the upper end of average that we saw during our stay. We were given bread which for the first time we decided to try, that was SO stale I think birds would have spat it out. I don't quite understand Italy's relationship with bread, is massively expensive in the shops and send to be used solely as a tourist 'idiot' test. If you're crazy enough to eat the bread we might bring you lots of other gratuitous things that will all add up to a scary restaurant bill. Anyway, we rejected the stale bread and the rest of the meal and the check/bill were uneventful.

This place is always pretty busy and if you want to sit beside the water's edge you'll have to book or get...

È vero che c'è il problema delle chiusure serali .. ma ... un primo (aglio olio e qualche pezzetto di speck) un secondo( una fettina microscopica di carne dura e fredda ) un contorno ( due di numero foglie di insalata nemmeno mezza carota grattuggiata e un pomodoro a fette ) mezzo litro di vino una bottiglia di acqua ( non imbottigliata ma riempita) due caffè e un amaro )..... premessa.... pranzo a menù probabilmente fisso ... 40€. facendomi cresere di farmi un favore.... penso sia un furto a tutti gli effetti e per giunta vi lamentate che non lavorate .. bè a parer mio dovreste chiudere ... complimenti ... sicuramente non mi vedrete più... e non mi venite a dire che è così perché di attività di ristorazione ne ho avute anch'io e non ero così approfittatore , i clienti vanno conquistati non...

A lovely simple Italian restaurant. Food is very nice and the staff are very friendly even though they speak very little English we had some amusing moments trying to understand each other. If your looking for someone to eat...
