Benvenuti a Bordo — Restaurant in Sori

Don’t go by the ratings, they are probably fake.

I walked in, waited 5 minutes with my wife and then the waitress told me that a table will be free soon and she would seat us there. She was nice and polite. I asked her if we could get a drink from the bar while waiting, she said she was going to suggest the same. We goto the bar and there’s a sketchy dude with long hair wearing a bandana, at the bar. It’s the younger one, not the older one with grey hair. You look at his face and you can tell he’s just pretending to be a bartender, knows nothing about bartending and probably skims money from the counter on the side. Keeping the jokes aside, this “highly intelligent and polite” superhuman says “Sorry, we are full”. No chance to explain or reply, he just moves to the other side of the bar.

Goto La Battigia or Scandelin. I came to this place because of the ratings and the reality was something else. The food at La Battigia is the best among the beach restaurants, and the service is best...

We were a little more adventurous here than we have been throughout our trip in Italy and it paid off. First of all, this is the first place where we did not encounter other Americans. Then, the view and atmosphere was amazing. A mix of Caribbean and Italian, what could be better? We then enjoyed our wines and quite good bread followed by sharing 3 plates that I really can't explain other than salad with octopus, pasta died black from ink with octopus and pasta with shrimp. Whatever it was we had, all three were our best meals in Italy!...

There are a few places worth going if you happen in Sori and this is one of them! The place offers all kinds of things to eat and drink, they also have a restaurant so you could easily be there from breakfast till after dinner! The view is beautiful and the music is chilling. If it's a windy day, I suggest bringing a sweatshirt even if its summertime but if you forget to, they have some covers so feel free to ask!
