Very authentic Italian. We noticed a line of people at the entrance, so we joined. Inside a small dark room was a long glass counter filled with hams, cheeses, deli salads and olives, freshly baked goods including pizzas and sweets.You order at the counter, they do take Maestro cards, but I suspect no credit cards. Very efficient service. I know only 2-3 words in Italian, they knew about the same in English. We understood each other perfectly. I noticed everyone was ordering Saltimbocca, so I ordered that too, plus a sandwich with mortadella …. Best sandwich ever! The place was buzzing. An Italian Nonna was walking around conversing with people, a large family was eating lunch… I do not know I just really appreciated this tiny piece of true Italian life.
