Excellent experience! We were accomodated on Agriturismo San Giusto near Sovicille and were advised by hosts Fabio and Daniela to enjoy dinner here. We were so amazed by this cuisine and excellent wine "rosso" that we didn't even search for other restaurants. We visited this local for several times and tried almost all local dishes on menue and agreed that all of them were delicious. Pasta pici, rabbit with carcioffi, lamb chops on senese, T-bone, beef tagliatella, pappardele con ragu, salad, desserts... The stuff is very kind, friendly and polite, they even alowed our New Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Sena to come in and served her fresh water (she patiently waited under the table). Everything this guy cooks is as good as it could ever be. Whether it's his seasonal pici and ragu or his ever-present steak tagliata, there isn't a single dish that disappoints. Only when they're taken off the menu... but they're always replaced with something equally exquisite. He used to do sublime carpaccio of smoked goose served with orange zest, leaves and dressing with roasted pine nuts, but he replaced it with an extravagant beef carpaccio with peccorino cheese, leaves and grated black truffle. They're an amazing little restaurant, and at the level of price and setting there is no one comparable within at least 20 miles. You would have to spend big money to get...

Fantastic food and service. Very friendly staff who spoke english and explained the food to us. The first course of aubergine flan was perfect, the pici with tomato sauce was great, the rabbit with artichoke stuffing was absolutely spot on, the beef steak strips with parmesan were so good too. The dessert of Tuscan style tiramisu finished the meal off perfectly. We came as a famy group and all enjoyed the food we had, especially the enormous T bone steak that my son and his family had, it was enormous and was plenty for 2 adults and 3 small children.
