La Merla Osteria Boutique — Restaurant in Sovicille

Ieri sera eravamo ospiti del Ristorante La Merla delle Macine di Stigliano, località incantevole nelle campagne senesi. Premetto che nei ristoranti di alta fascia difficilmente mi capita andare. Più che una cena la definirei una vera e propria esperienza, per il palato ma anche per la struttura e il percorso offerto nella cena stessa. Ci siamo affidati all'estro dello Chef Mario, veramente notevole. Ogni portata, ogni vino, ogni abbinamento veniva magistralmente raccontato e spiegato da Claudio, che oltre a portarci i piatti, ci assisteva in tutto, raccontandoci le caratteristiche e la storia di quella pietanza, la sua unicità, il perchè degli abbinamenti. Un percorso attraverso la cena stessa che guida nel gusto e nella storia, senza invadere troppo, nella giusta misura e con una professionalità e una passione raramente riscontrata in certe occasioni. I padroni di casa Elisa e Manuele, autori e creatori di tutto, sempre attenti alle esigenze dei clienti. Come direbbe Borghese nelle sue fantomatiche puntate di 4 ristoranti... Location 11, siamo arrivati di notte e già siamo rimasti incantati, ma ci voglio tornare di giorno, dove credo che Stigliano sia una vera e propria delizia per la vista e i sensi. La cucina di Mario è di altissimo livello, c'è tanta passione, si vede e si sente all'assaggio. L'assistenza e la professionalità di Claudio ma anche di tutti gli altri collaboratori non è standard ma superiore. I prezzi adeguati a un ristorante di questo livello che si trova nel Relais Le Macine di Stigliano, struttura bellissima che vi racconterò fra qualche tempo e che vale veramente la pena visitare. Super cosy restaurant hidden on top of a small hill. We felt welcome from the moment we entered La Merla Osteria and I have to say that this is amon the best reaturants I have visited in Tuscany. Service was great, food was even better. The Ragu was the best Ragu I have ever had and the pizza was superb, too. We all agreed: this was the best restaurant since our stay in Toscane! The food was very good, we thought the wine was excellent. The prices are normal. Also the service was very professional and the vibe/ambiance is great. The older pictures on google maps dont do it justice. Tips: the parkinglot is BEHIND the hotel.
