Ristorante pizzeria hotel Le Logge — Restaurant in Sovicille

At the end of our holiday we wanted a restaurant to both top off our break, and celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. We chose Ristorante Le Logge and it was perfect.||||For various reasons we arrived at opening time (7.30pm) when it was empty, and sitting outside. However over the next 30 mins it filled up creating an lovely atmosphere; it was only when we looked around that we realised we were the only English people in the place, which is always a good sign.||||We sat outside and had different variety of pizzas which were delicious; the request for the evening was genuine Italian pizza, and that is exactly what we go. Not a single stuffed crust in the place.||||As would be expected, the wine was both local and really nice and the service was efficient and helpful.||||The only part of the meal which was slightly disappointing was the dessert which were rather limited and unimaginative. I had the chocolate cheesecake which was nice, but they did not have any cream to put on it which would have finished it off nicely.||||Would certainly go here again if we...

We went twice this week and we had a wonderful time both evenings. The waitress speaks a little bit english but can't understand complicated requests. She translated the daily specials quite well. Food was really tasty! The primi dishes were all fresh and good with a reasonable price, very recommended!

Time management wasn't great. First night, it was 4 of us. One of us only ordered only a pasta dish, while the other three had 2 courses. She ended up receiving the food after everybody else finished the primi but before they got the secondi. So, she basically had to eat alone. Second night, we were a group of 10. The menu was amazing with a lot of different pizzas to choose from. After a long day, we were all tired and pretty hungry. Everyone was really satisfied with their pizza. Nothing tops the Italian pizza chefs :)||The place was quiet busy, although it was just an ordinary Monday evening. A lot of locals were around it was pretty clear that this was a real family business. Some of them were having dinner in the restaurant as well. ||The waiters were friendly, however they did not ask us for another drink and they didn’t check upon us during our dinner.
