Worst place I’ve been since I moved to Italy (6 years ago). You might think that it’s your only option because there aint much around, but its 1000 times worth getting on your car and driving 5 minutes back to town. We waited TWO hours to be seated, when the inital promise made by the manager was a 30-min waiting time. When seated, we waited another 20 minutes to have someone approach our table. At that point we were pissed and asked to talk to the manager. The lady said: “do you want to order or not?” We insisted on talking to someone; you can’t treat clients like that. The lady said “we don’t need you. If you don’t wanna order you can leave”. Of course, we stood up and left. While leaving, everyone in the restaurant shut up and watched; also they were pissed and were applauding our noble attitude. Never let yourself be mistreated. It’s better to starve. The other people that were waiting to be seated (that arrived after us) turned around and left with us. Justice prevails over ambitious managers that rather make ppl wait standing under the sun for 2 hours instead of being truthful to take their money and confessing that they don’t have the ability if handling many tables at...
Read moreThis charming restaurant near the Nuraghe Majori offers a simple, yet delicious menu focused on fresh cheeses and meats. Ricotta cheese was the star of the show, featured in several dishes. The salted ricotta and fresh ricotta with fig jam on the cheese platter were absolute standouts - rich and flavorful. The homemade ravioli, filled with delicate ricotta, paired perfectly with the light, fresh tomato sauce, which was a highlight in itself.
For dessert, the cream-flavored gelato topped with honey cooked down with orange was a unique and refreshing treat, perfect for a hot September day. The fresh ricotta with honey was another delightful way to end the meal. Excellent value for money, offering simple, fresh home-cooked dishes that truly shine....
Read moreThey don't fill wine glass how most restaurants do. You get about 60% full. I would say 100mL instead of standard 150mL (5oz serving). This just pisses me off as it feels like theft. If menu says glass, stop being stingy and greedy. I'd rather pay more and know to expect 150mL. Mixed grill is disaster. I love meat and had to throw away almost all of the beef...it was either bones or that chewy, edge fat piece that is impossible to chew. Portions are very small. No flavor. Cheapest cuts. They should fire the chef. Clueless cooks. These people dont know how to make meat. They dont know anything about grilling let alone meat grilling. Service is zero Stars! Atmosphere is nice, but I didn't...
