As a solo traveller, I was looking for somewhere comfortable for dinner. It was recommended that I try Al Sole 2. Boy, am I pleased I did. From the moment I walked through the door, I could not have been made to feel more welcome. Mikaela, the owner, took my order and made a couple of suggestions (my Italian is rubbish). I had sea food pasta, followed by tiramisu. All lovingly made and delicious. But the best bit was sitting down with Mikaela for half an hour, putting the world to rights. Priceless. What a special place! We happened upon this spot while camping on our way back from the Dolomites. The food was amazing , the service even better. We were warmly welcomed by the owner Michela, and she provided us with an adorable heart-shaped pizza appetizer because we ordered pasta .. but "needed" to try the pizza. You NEED to try the pizza too ! And the pasta ! And the red wine. Everything was SOOO good. We knew it was our spot when we walked by and locals were sitting outside enjoying their meals. We had a wonderful experience at this pizzeria. The pizza was absolutely delicious – thin, crispy crust and fresh, flavorful ingredients. There's a huge variety to choose from, so everyone will find something they love.

What really made our visit special was the friendly and attentive service. The staff were quick, kind, and always smiling. A special mention goes to the lovely hostess, who was incredibly warm and welcoming – it felt like visiting family.
