Probably the worst food experience in Italy. We ordered a clam pasta and swordfish steak with fried potatoes. For the clam pasta, the clams were definitely not fresh. My guess is that the clams were previously frozen but were sold as live clams. When asked about the food quality, we shared our opinion with the manager, but he flat out refuted our claim, which tells me he couldn’t care less about what we thought and why we thought that way.
The pasta itself had zero taste, which is actually hard to do. Moving on to the swordfish, the fish itself was grilled, so it was fine. The fried potatoes on the other hand were terrible. Definitely double baked, likely using leftover potatoes from the hotel’s breakfast serving.
Overall speaking, the current 4.5 google rating is definitely wrong. I did notice that many of the high reviews were from 4 years ago, so something must have happened over these years as this is NOT a 4.5 quality restaurant. In fact, it is a one star as I can cook better...

It was not bad, not at all, but the price was not warranted by the quality of the food, I would say. The staff was very nice and eager, but sometimes it is not easy to communicate if you do not know any Italian. They forgot one of our dishes, probably got lost in translation. Abbiamo ordinato in tutto un piatto di pasta, una tagliata di manzo rucola, pachini e parmigiano e una patata al forno. Il pane ci è stato servito solo dopo nostra esplicita richiesta. La tagliata è arrivata senza rucola, sostituita da insalata buttata così sulla carne con il resto. Fatto notare al cameriere che non c'era la rucola, ci ha riferito che la cucina ha fatto di testa sua, mettendo l'insalata. Data tutta l'attesa e la fame, l'ho mangiata così. Cottura della carne più ben cotta che media come richiesta.
