Boa Sorte — Restaurant in Tarquinia

We came upon this place by chance whilst looking for a place to stay overnight in our Van. ( Free Carpark ) We read reviews that said it was good food and drinks so that was enough to temp us! We were greeted by the owner first and then the Waiter who showed us a seat outside the restaurant in the Massive Garden area. He Spoke good English and Took our Order of Calamari and Prawns, And the Fish Dish ( Fragolino which was freshly Caught by Sandrino that morning) Along with a Bottle of White Wine Fermanto Toscanto ( Spelt something like that? ) The Calamari turned up whilst the Fish was in the Oven cooking so that gave us time to enjoy that. The Fish arrived and didn’t Disappoint us ( 450g ) Enough for us to share. We Were sat next to 2 Italian Lads who we got into conversation with and told us about the Desserts they had ( Boiled Pear in Wine with Ice Cream and a crème Chantelle cake ) Which was a First for us on both and absolutely lovely! We finished off with a Lemon Chello and coffee to end the perfect meal. The Staff were so friendly, Engaging and polite ( Francesco - Mario ) ( Zoe the Waitress) I just want to say thank you for such a Wonderful Service and Memories...

The best beach club in Italy!!! When you pull up and park it's quiet, clean and absolutely inviting. Dogs, families and children are all welcome with arms wide open. The beach and the gazebos are perfect for laying in the sun and shade. The sea is absolutely beautiful and calming. When you are ready you can enjoy an absolutely delicious lunch, mussels, fried calamari and prawn, pasta and wine that is sulfite free and is absolutely delicious. Beer fridge is full of fantastic beer unfiltered and filtered beers. The music at the restaurant is fantastic. The cost is more than reasonable. Das Lokal hat eine echt super Lage am Strand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, aber leider so gut wie nur italienisch-sprachig. Und es sind junge Leute. Da sollte man annehmen das Englisch gut geht.

Die Preise finde ich absolut zu hoch. Die Speisekarte schmuddelig. Wenig Auswahl auf der Karte und dann nicht mal das alles verfügbar.

Wir wollten unter anderem 1 mal Spaghetti aglio olio, aber ohne Peperoni. Das habe ich sowohl auf englisch, als auch auf Italienisch probiert zu erklären. Als Antwort bekam ich eine Übersetzung von irgend einer englischen sea urche. Was auch immer das mit den Spaghetti zu tun haben soll blieb mir ein Rätsel. Stattdessen hat dann 1 Person von uns 3 nur Pommes als Hauptspeise bestellt…

Außer unserem war nur ein anderer Tisch besetzt bei dem die Gäste bereits beim Essen waren. Trotzdem mussten wir auf den Lachs, die Nudeln und die Pommes eine gute halbe Stunde warten…

Keine Getränkekarte/-preise vorhanden nur eine eigene Weinkarte. Wollte ich mittags nicht…. Dann eben nur Wasser auf gut Glück bestellt, da man ja nicht weiß was es kostet.

Fazit: nett, freundlich, schöner Ausblick, aber zumindest das Essen, viel zu teuer. So nebenbei… Auf der Karte Servizi 2,50- pro Person (wir haben kein Brot anfangs bekommen, nur dann nebenbei zu den Hauptspeisen) und auf der Rechnung dann 3,- Euro pro Person. Wofür? Auch eher unverschämt… Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen, maximal Getränke für den Strand holen wenn...
