Trattoria Da Carlo — Restaurant in Tarzo

Wonderful little spot in the hills of prosecco wine country. Cozy and warm with a roaring fire in the centre of the restaurant which served as the meat grilling area as well. We’re visiting from Canada and we were brought to this restaurant by family and I must say, this gave us a flavour of a true Italian country meal outing. The grilled meat was done perfectly, the wine was delicious and the hospitality was very welcoming. We will definitely be back on...

We had been back after 2 decades of not going,thinking to find the same foods that made the place famous. We've arrived 10min earlier in the location,which was not really seen as a good idea. The lady that was seated outside the door (she had served us after) so unfriendly, we weren't, seems not welcome. Foods needs an upgrade. It wasn't tasty at all.

Posto molto carino.. più che altro la zona e il contesto...il signor Carlo ci ha accolto con gentilezza e accompagnandoci al tavolo ( io con due amici) che avevamo riservato..ha comunicato a una cameriera ( capelli corti "biondiccia")che ci faceva accomodare lì....la signora molto sgarbata senza salutare..ha avuto un'espressione facciale tipo... vabbè a me che mi frega! E ce ne siamo accorti tutti e 3!!! Quindi...Poi al tavolo è venuta sempre con modi suol dirsi " da contadina " ma non con la mente fina...a portarci i menù..e ha continuato senza stare a specificare tutto" a porgersi in modo sgarbato! Le ho chiesto se potevo cambiare la mia insalata appena scelta con della verza e cetrioli che avevo visto al tavolo vicino...e mi ha risposto..""neanche fossi sua sorella""..eh io sto a quel che mi chiedi te sai???"" Maleducata e assurda! Che dire...va bene che non è un ristorante in centro Milano...ma credo la civiltà sia arrivata dappertutto ormai..anche fra le nostre...
