Beautiful place, inside and outside, full of plants, a wall of jasmine will give you an amazing smell troughout your dinner or lunch while you eat under the beautiful, almost centenary trees. Inside the athmosphere is warm, welcoming, very well furnished, with flowers and plants giving the place a very intimate, tought very elegant feel. The service is professional, on point, very nice and very welcoming. We had the cannelloni with ricotta di pecora and bufala, and they were blowminding! The dessert too, are fantastic! When we were there they had the "Delizia al Limone" from Flor de sal, one of the most famous pastry shop of the Amalfi coast. The price is right, because the food, the place the service, everything was of very high standards.

We came here for dinner and really enjoyed ourselves. There is patio seating (where everyone was) and some indoor seating. Staff are courteous and were generally prompt, except when we asked for the bill (that took the longest, however to be fair, this was when they were busiest). We ordered the 1/4L house white (€2) which was quite a nice wine. Pizza Romana (€11) which was a really tasty pizza, excellent thin crust. Stringozzi with bacon, courgette flower pesto and pistacchio sauce (€12); and Spaghetti bianchi e neri (€14) were both unique and different pastas, but in a really good way, they were very tasty. Overall we'd recommend having a meal here.

Je mets très rarement de mauvais avis, mais celui-ci est plus que mérité! On voulait manger de bonnes pizzas dans cette pizzeria plutôt bien notée vu le lieu très touristique. On s’installe et on nous donne la carte (en ayant attendu un peu…). On commence par commander une assiette à partager. Puis on commande donc nos deux pizzas, mais on nous répond qu’ils ne font pas de pizzas le midi, étrange pour une « Pizzeria » comme écrit en gros sur la devanture du restaurant. Surtout que ce n’est pas écrit sur la carte et qu’on ne nous a rien dit en arrivant. Ayant déjà commandé l’entrée à partager nous sommes restés et nous sommes dit que si l’entrée était bonne, nous pourrions prendre d’autres plats, mais après 25min d’attente alors qu’il n’y avait que 5 tables et en plus déjà servies, l’arrivée de l’entrée nous a scotchée, quelques croquettes frites, sans présentation posée dans une assiette, et avec une allure de surgelé (bien qu’en les goûtant on s’est rendu compte que ce n’est probablement pas le cas). À la réception de l’entrée on demande donc l’addition pour partir rapidement et manger ailleurs, on attend encore 10 minutes pour l’addition. Le meilleur arrive à l’addition, bien que ce soit interdit depuis 2007 dans la région de Rome, ils nous facturent le service et le pain 2€/personne (alors qu’on a même pas eu le pain, huile d’olive ou les condiments)… Bref des voleurs, après avoir argumenté avec le patron, on ne paye pas le pain qu’on a jamais eu, ouf… Non pas que 4€ ne change grand chose pour nous, juste par principe, c’est inadmissible de facturer le pain et le service alors qu’on ne pouvait même pas prendre de Pizza dans une pizzeria et qu’on a pas eu le pain. Service et nom du restaurant à revoir. Passez votre chemin, il y a mieux ailleurs.

…………………………. dopo2 importanti sopralluoghi aspettiamo il terzo amico e andiamo a pranzo a Villa Esedra, ristorante molto carino nei pressi di Villa Adriana a Tivoli Gli amici me ne avevano me ne avevano parlato, ma non eravamo ancora riusciti ad andarci Il locale rappresenta bene la romanità classica, curati esterni ed interni classicamente riecheggianti Sfogliamo il ricco menù e andiamo sul pesce Scegliamo gli antipasti Esedra, antipasto di pesce crudi e cotti e quindi: alicette marinate con panzanella di pomodoro, tartare di gamberi, insalata di mare e carpaccio di ricciola, cannolicchi gratinati, calamaretti spillo fritti, polpetti in umido, polpette di pesce con salsa di ceci accompagniamo queste delicatezze con un gran sauvignon di Marco Felluga il pesce è veramente squisito, freschissimo e preparato molto bene ed è gradito da tutti poi scegliamo un bel primo e quindi, spaghetti bianchi e neri con alici del mar cantabrico e stracciatella di Andria e fiori di zucca croccanti, fettuccine fatte in casa al nero di seppia con rana pescatrice e pomodorini un tripudio di sapori e bontà eccelsa poi un gran dessert che convince tutti, la Foresta Nera, un pan di spagna al cacao bagnato con liquore e farcito con mousse al cioccolato fondente, ciliegie e panna, fantastico connubio di sapori e dolcezze Pranzo veramente eccellente!!!

We came to visit Villa Adriana and stayed in a B&B right next to the Villa and this restaurants, we were gladly surprised how good it is. We were probably the only tourists here, most patrons were large Italian families. The food was great, services was great and the house wine was delicious. Couldn’t have asked for a better restaurant. The Pizza Golossa was one of the best I’ve had in Italy. Highly recommended.

It was such a surprise to be able to find a restaurant of such high quality just outside the Villa Adriana We had the seafood appetiser which was sublime! There was chopped raw tuna, fried calamari, mussels, zucchini flowers fried with something that tasted like oysters. The turbot fish was done to perfection. Succulent, fine-meat, the whole fish was properly cooked with no part overdone.
