Torre Birraia — Restaurant in Torre Annunziata

What a gem of a spot! We stumbled across this place whilst hungry after a day trip to the Amalfi Coast. We wanted a place we could sit and relax and enjoy a meal and this ticked all the boxes.

The food was amazing, with a simple starter of nachos and drinks before burgers and eggplant parmigiana. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared with care. The back courtyard was also an excellent place to sit.

The staff were friendly and attentive and the owner very welcoming. We had some drinks and even though our Italian is not so good, their English was great and they were patient and friendly about it.

I'd recommend trying this place, especially if you love burgers.

We ate here on the first night of our holidays. The gentleman who served us went out of his way to help us, by recommending local dishes and also spoke very good English (which made up for our poor understanding of Italian). We shared the parmigiana to start. Both that and the burgers we chose were excellent quality, had well-balanced flavours and perfectly cooked. The portion of chips was very large and too much for us to finish. There is a varied choice of drinks available. They have a terrace at the back of the bar which was a pleasant place to eat on a warm evening. Service...

Torre Birraia è un pub stile bavarese, che si concentra però su un'offerta legata al territorio e ai sapori nostrani. È un bel locale e si mangia bene. Se avesse una selezione di birre artigianali più grande potrebbe davvero fare un passo grande. CONSIGLIATO

L'ambiente è caldo e accogliente, con un arredamento piacevole e curato. Il coperto è molto spartano in linea con il tema del posto: un classico pub stile tedesco. C'è un facile ingresso per passeggini e sedie a rotelle. Il WiFi non c'è. Si trova nella vena principale di Torre, non ha un parcheggio proprio ma è stando sul corso a pochi passi dal centro, è facilmente raggiungibile. Gode di uno spazio esterno, di una sala ampia, di schermi per seguire le partite di calcio e musica di ambiente. Il servizio non è rapidissimo ma il personale è molto cordiale. È un ambiente molto informale. Gli antipasti molto buoni. Le Montanari e sono fritte perfettamente, quella con guanciale e ricotta stupenda, così come quella con pesto e pomodorini secchi. Il crocchettone di patate viola e pesto di pistacchio è da provare assolutamente: croccantissimo fuori e ingredienti buoni. Il panino buono, ben fatto, con provola, pesto di pistacchio e patate viola. Le insalate sono abbondanti e la carne al piatto è servita calda, con tutte le cotture esatte. Anche gli gnocchetti fritti con Nutella so o buoni, per concludere in dolcezza la cena. Alla fine ci hanno anche offerto un digestivo. Una cena per 9 persone con antipasti vari (Montanarine, patatine, due crocchettoni) e piatti principali, dolce e bevande 13 euro a persona.
