Osteria la Cantina — Restaurant in Torri del Benaco

We have been in the area the past two weekends, been looking for nice places to eat out but always disappointed. On Garda Lake, most places catering to tourists are just bad (small portions, low quality ingredients). A tip: avoid places with a view. Cute place and friendly staff however I ordered the fried chicken and it was served with some bits that were cold and others that were slightly warm so I couldn’t eat it. I didn’t want to get it reheated as this is exactly how I was given food poisoning many years ago. They apologised profusely. This is the pizza I’ve been looking for. Delicious flavor combinations with both their gnocchi and pizza. Very attentive and friendly staff. We are only in town for three days but plan to return. Grazie mille!

Update: we returned and tried the Pumpkin Gnocchi and Tiramisu. Both incredible. Arguably the most refreshing Tiramisu I’ve ever had. Will recommend this restaurant as a MUST for friends visiting...
