Residence La Corte Danese — Hotel in Torri del Benaco

We stayed here for 10 nights in August and I absolutely fell in love with Corte Danese. From check in to the day we left we had such an amazing time. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment next to the pool but we still had plenty of privacy. The views are just stunning and the location of the apartment is just a 10 minute walk into town. Underground parking is perfect so your car is secure and does not get hot if you are going out in the middle of the day. The apartment was spacious and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms was an added bonus. There were plenty of towels and spare pillows. Rosella was so friendly and spoke very good English. There are opening times for the pool of 8am to 8pm which is fine. If you have small children going to bed early then it is nice that the pool is quiet from 8pm. You are able to order croissants and bread to be left outside your apartment each morning which is great as it means you can then spend the day by the pool without having to go out and get fresh bread. There are an abundance of loungers around the pool so whatever time we went to sit out there was availability. The whole complex is clean and well looked after. There is free wifi which was sometimes a bit patchy but we didn't come one holiday to be staring at our phones for the whole time!! There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement garage (3 euros for the washing machine and 1 euro for the dryer) which we used twice during our stay. Aircon in both bedrooms and in the living area was welcome! All in all I would stay here again in a heartbeat. One of the loveliest places I have...

Spent 7 nights here last week. What a fab place. We had a fantastic 3 bedroom apartment for 6 of us which was one of best equipped apartments I've ever stayed in. The views were amazing with a huge terrace with sunbeds and rattan furniture, another terrace off the lounge with table and chairs plus two smaller balconies and we even discovered a little garden around the corner of our balcony on the second day! The lift (with penthouse key) took us up to our terrace and down to the car park, this was so helpful as we had my elderly father with us. He managed the steps which lead down to the lakefront but you could walk along the back road as well. You could have bread delivered daily but we liked the walk to the supermarket first thing in the morning. There are bus stops at the bottom of the steps with buses to take you to other towns around the lake for just a few Euros. The pool was beautiful and so clean, with views over the lake. Torri is very pretty and about a 10 min walk, the walk back in the evening was magical and you don't have to walk all the way into town as there are numerous lovely restaurants on the way into town. The hill to the apartments is a bit steep but the walk burnt off some of the fabulous food we ate!. My Dad is 85 and he managed both the hill and the steps. Rosella was really helpful and gave us lots of assistance when we needed it. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you book this place....

La Corte Danese is ideal for a vacation at Garda Lake with family. The place is very close to the bus stop and 5 min from the lake shore where there's also a beach bar renting sun ombrellas. The town is 10 min walk and so are supermarkets, butcher, backery, restaurants and bars. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, responsive and warm. The whole reservation process was very smooth and safe. I felt in good hands from the beginning but I was so happily surprised to see the magic of the place live as we arrived. The apartments are very well equipped (kitchen tools, microwave, AC, big fridge and freezer, a modern stove, plenty of towels, cupboards, terrace with sun beds etc ), have a stunning view on the lake and the garden with the swimming pools. We loved to bath long in the baby swimming pool with our little one and to have romantic dinners on the spacious terrace. Every public space is clean and well taken care of every day. The service is impeccable, no matter how full or hot it can get. There's a big parking and a laundromat in the building, which made our holiday even easier than expected! We'd love to come back here every year with our families. It's just the perfect place to enjoy your free time with children and friends. Well done Jonilda & staff and thanks for your warm...
