The hotel has some 'old days' charm. If you are looking for the state of the art , modern place, this is not definitely for you. Nevertheless we have enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious. Se furniture and bed was on good shape. Way better than on some known hotel chains. The breakfast is a bit basic. Just a croissant, bread, butter, juice and coffee. It is enough, I would say, but could be better If you want scrambled eggs, for instance, you must pay as these are not included I liked the flexibility on providing home made gluten-free bread. Good family owned restaurant. Service may be a bit slow considering there was only one waiter doing his best to look after multiple tables at the same time (lunch). As for the food, today I've tried their agnolotti (typical from that region, filled with beef and braised beef sauce) and it was fantastic. Also tried their fish filet (on lemon sauce and sautées potatoes). Five stars for the pasta, 2 stars for the fish. Just to be fair on this review, for dinner I've ordered the same agnolotti in a fine dinning restaurant in Torino, and it was not as good as the agnolotti at Aurora Girarrosto....

Ristorante ampio, pulito e curato; personale gentile e professionale; cucina di ottimo livello; ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo; queste sono le caratteristiche salienti di questo ristorante/albergo in cui mi sono recentemente recato; ero indeciso se mettere 4 stelle per alcuni piccoli dettagli interessanti dallo scorrere del tempo come l'appoggio di legno dietro al mio tavolo, che, peraltro, era comodissimo per piazzare cellulare e portafoglio, ma poi ho valutato che un ristorante con più di 70 anni di storia dovesse avere qualche segno e quindi ho optato per il giudizio a 5 stelle, anche perché nel complesso il tutto è tenuto decisamente bene. Proseguendo schematicamente nella valutazione: Il menù offre proposte del territorio, primi interessanti, pesce e carne, direi completo ed equilibrato; la carta dei vini è abbastanza ricca e soprattutto caratterizzata da scelte assennate, sia del territorio, che nazionali, che internazionali; merita particolare risalto la cucina, in grado di essere rapida e di proposte con il giusto compromesso tra tradizione ed un accenno di innovazione oltre che a preparare le basi (ad esempio la pasta fatta in casa) di molte portate a menù, a differenza di tantissimi altri ristoranti che ormai cucinano e preparano sempre meno, semplificando le preparazioni arricchendole solo di nomi altisonanti nei menù; carrello dei dolci, in memoriam degli antichi fasti di grandi ristoranti sempre più rari da trovare, è interessante, avendo assaggiato molto devo dire che i livello è più che buono, bene per la frutta candita ed i marron glacé, mi sarei però aspettato anche la zuppa inglese e soprattutto il montblanc dato il tenore del carrello. un dettaglio non trascurabile, i saloni erano...
