Madosa — Restaurant in Trabia

TL;DR: go there if you want to at least something “good” — it might even be more.

Now, on a personal note, and about this first time we were here, 5 of us, it was amazing!

We’ve ordered a simple appetiser of tomatoes and mozzarella first, as well as a summer salad with the same ingredients plus mushrooms, rucola, and something else, not sure. Simple and lovely!

Then, we’ve got some craft sicilian beers and a Grillo, again, wonderful.

And then the pizzas! Romana, Quattro formaggi, Margherita and Calzone - all amazing, from the dough through the sauce and cheese, to the veggies and ham! 4 of us were in Italy for the first time, and but then have tried a few - so far these were the best!

I’ve been to Italy a few times and now live here for about a year and a half, and yet this my first time eating a Calzone. I could’ve have guessed how lucky this choice for the first try was! Now my challenge is not too have my expectations too high because of this one :) oh, and the reason it’s the first time is because I’d typically not find a vegetarian calzone, so thanks for providing the option as well.

Overall, lovely experience and staff too, not just the food, but of course we come for the food first, hence a longer description :) still, all of the staff were really sweet, welcoming and accommodating, and that makes it all click. Thank you very much indeed,...

Nice pizzeria and restaurant near the touristic port. Pizza is great, restaurant has few options but only with fresh ingredients (mainly fish). Service is good and usually fast. The times we have been there were not many options for dessert (only ice-cream-like desserts) but the waiter said because it was a weekly day on a low season period so you should find better...
