Albergo Miniere is a clean and comfortable hotel immersed in a beautiful part of Italy that is well worth a visit. I visited recently and enjoyed it very much, we went on incredible walks and enjoyed the mountain atmosphere. What sets this hotel apart from the rest are the people that run it and the restaurant. Whilst the breakfast is basic and unfussy, the dinner is incredible. I would especially recommend the 'Herbs Tasting Menu', it was dish after dish of incredible flavours all enhanced by local herbs. The service is wonderful and the people who run this place are some of the friendliest and most attentive hosts I've ever encountered. Situated in the heart of Traversella this authentic stone house is a great place to be. Although rooms are small and with narrow bath facilities everything is pretty charming.||Service staff doesn't speak english or german, but they don't leave a stone unturned to make us happy. Restaurant is pretty good and also the breakfast with house made croissants.
