Beer Garden — Restaurant in Trecase

Went 2 nights in a row English menus are not up to date but it’s clearly an Italian restaurant as is completely off the beaten track and we were the only tourists there both nights 1st night we went early 7 ish and the place was quiet we had a lovely waiter who we told just to pick our food for us and he did we had Ragu pasta and some kind of steak, he gave his reasonings and some explanation behind the dishes he had chosen for us and was a genuine delight and should be cherished by his manager (tall bald man with glasses). The food was amazing we were expecting pub food to an extent but no this was cooked by a very skilled person every mouthful was beautiful the chips beautiful meat seasoned perfectly and buttery you could see the shock on our faces 2nd night we went later about 9 and it turns out that this is just what time Italians eat the place was rammed we got seated quickly and water brought over quickly and starter brought over with in half an hour this time the waiters were a little more panicked at the fact we were English as they couldn’t just hand pick the best English speaking waiter and make us his table as they were so busy food took ages to come as we expected due to how many people were there was nearly an hour between starter and main we understand the wait time as the kitchen had no possible way to keep up to the amount of people there but front of house let it down this time if they’d have come and offered us some more water and just came to check on us we would have felt better we had more or less the same and a burger well good golly it was worth the wait, we couldn’t even be mad about the wait because of how good it was the burger melted in our mouths so much we couldn’t understand how they kept it whole whilst cooking it perfect medium rare on all the meats both times too Well done to the guys in the kitchen as quality of food did not suffer due to how busy the place was which it usually does I’m surprised the chef doesn’t work at a restaurant with rosettes he could make a lot of money in England with skill like he had Price was fair too 4stars because service on second night wasn’t as good as...

Location molto carina in stile rustico alle pendici del Vesuvio, prezzi non alti e qualitá dei prodotti buona. Difficilmente do poche stelle , ma qui ne do poche in merito al servizio che quando è ottimo puó compensare la qualitá quando bassa,ma viceversa allontanare ANCHE SE SI MANGIA BENE. In settimana con poca gente ,logico il tutto è gestibile, ma tipo ci sono andato di Domenica a pranzo e mi fai accomodare, e passati 15 minuti a chiamare sempre i camerieri perchè dovevamo prendere solo un primo, non arriva mai nessuno, ma i nuovi clienti si accomodano e ordinano anche prima di noi. Notato questo lo dico al titolare alla cassa ,che in dialetto mi dice: giá è tanto che ti sei seduto,è passato poco tempo,aspetta. Io mi siedo allibito e una cameriera gentile mi dice:perdonami per ció. Non amo far polemica e resto in silenzio, e vedo lei parlare dal capo sala che presumo sia il figlio del titolare, che le risponde ad alta voce:NON MI INTERESSA PER ME POSSONO ASPETTARE! Io in silenzio mangio pago e vado via. Il cliente ha sempre ragione si dice, sono le basi, ma la gentilezza e l’educazione non deve mancare a prescindere ,anche se sei forse rinomato in zona,perchè fa parte dell’essere una persona umile. La mia recensione non cambierá di certo un fatturato, ma spero serva a migliorarsi, le recensioni...

Recensione ultima... Sono tornato dopo qualche anno... sinceramente di giovedì...attendere quasi una ventina di minuti per avere il menu non è bello... L'acqua è arrivata dopo tutto l ordine... E i panini si frantumavano come se fossero surgelati..questa volta non sono stato soddisfatto.. Menu stavolta plastificato.. Location esterna è stata allestita meglio..e si sta bene

Recensione 2 anni fa Location da montagna ..semplice e con spazio all' aperto...adatto per chi ha bimbi piccoli perché se vuoi cenare in relax non è il posto giusto...ci sono le giostrine all esterno e se insieme giocano più di 10 bambini piccoli ovvio che si crea caos...consiglio di mettere i fermatovaglie all' aperto perchè vola tutto...e il Menù su un foglio di carta non va bene perché vola di continuo..e questo risparmio di materiale dovrebbe fare scendere i prezzi sul totale...invece I prezzi a mio parere sono troppo alti..le birre sono ottime...antipasti vari e sfiziosi ma anche questi molto cari...i panini enormi su una media di 10euro circa..
