Just want to say what a wonderful place this is. We arrived here on Feb 6th around 1900. We spent the day in Pompeii with our daughter and her boyfriend. They have an electric car that needed to be charged up, and we were desperate to find a charging place before we became stranded on the side of the road. We finally found a place with a few miles of charge left. We were cold and hungry, and needed to wait for the car to charge, so we just started to walk into town to look for a place to eat. Stopped here. From the outside, it looked kind of neglected and unappealing for 3 Americans and a Romanian. Boy, were we wrong! There was no inside seating, just a small patio outside, that was cold and dark. But the owner and his employees made us feel so welcome, even though we could barely communicate with one another. We ordered 3 large pizzas, and a bunch of appetizers, all for about 37 Euros. The appetizers were good, but the pizzas were fantastic. But it wasn't the food that made the stop special. It was the people working there. They saw we were cold, and came out to the patio a few minutes after we ordered with a metal coal bucket loaded with hot coals from the pizza oven! It was so awesome. After the meal, I went to pay at the counter, and the boss (maybe the owner?) started miming to me about America, each of us laughing at one another. I paid, and we were getting ready to leave, when he gestured to me to sit back down. I wasn't sure what was going on, but a few minutes later, he came out with a tray of some type of pistachio after-dinner drink for all of us. It really made our evening so special! Summary - we spent 2 weeks in Rome and the surrounding area, and ate at several high end restaurants during our stay, but our unintentional stop here was the most memorable and special time we had during...

Absolutely lovely evening in Trecase, a little town just a few steps from crowded and loud area everywhere around. In the heart of Trecase there is a little pizzeria, i bet it looked the same 20 years ago. Pizza is delicious, of course, but it is no surprise at this part of the world. THE PEOPLE and the atmosphere they create, their openness. Pizza and typical good quality street food but also meat and pasta - just talk to them (not much English but they try hard to communicate). Don't forget to drink their local wine! Lemon ice cream and... more if you're lucky. Really tasty surprise at the end....

No words to describe the authentic taste of the food. From the outside it doesn't look like a 5-star Italian, but appearence does deceive here. Gnocchi, pizza, appetizers, ice cream, limoncello and meloncello; everything home made and so good!!! And not expensive at all! The setting makes you definitely feel that your in Italy. Not many tourists and really friendly people working there. We forgot the keys of the B&B and the owner returned those on his bike. Everything combined makes this place a definite 5 star restaurant. Grazie mille....

Looks can be deceiving, this place is a prime example of this. Although it doesn't look like a great is place it truly is. The pizza is excellent and the staff is very nice. If you are looking for an amazing pizza for little money I would highly recommend this place. The only downside of this place is the location, don't expect a nice terrace or a great view when eating here. Give this place a try, it will be worth your while.

Wow, what an amazing experience it was for us to be hosted by the team at La Briciola on our first night in Italy. They served us the best pizza we had the whole time we were there. The owner was so gracious amd friendly taking us on a tour of the church of Trecase, telling us the story of their patron saint, San Gennaro. This restaurant and their friendly team made our visit just wonderful. Thank you from Canada!!!

The place is located in a more rural part of the area and located next to a church! Prices are very fair I would even say cheap! The pizza tasted incredibly good and was one of the best I had during my various stays in Italy! The staff was super friendly and showed us how our pizzas were made! If you are in the area you need to come here!!! 100% recommend
