we were very lucky yesterday to stumble upon this sweet lovely restaurant in a quiet sleepy town it looks like a normal local little bar but when you go upstairs it is a lovely and cool air conditioned sweet cosy restaurant with high ceilings and interesting wealthy iron staircase banisters lead you up. it felt so fresh and clean and comfortable there. The selection of local cured meats was delicious the pecorino some of the best i have ever had and the white wine was very good. The vongole was so sensational maybe the best i’ve had the pasta was hot and aldente and coated with lovely bottarga and vongole sweet sea and salty sea in one bite it was heaven. The portion was generous and we almost finished it that’s how delicious it was. So happily surprised by this jewel of a place so local the waitress’s were so friendly and so patient with us and i would definitely go again if i ever drove through the middle top bit of sardinia. lovely lovely place rick stein would adore xx

Très bon restaurant simple et authentique trouvé complètement à l’arrache via Google, le 13 Juin 24, sur notre route entre le Ferry et Olbia. Ne paye pas de mine vu de l’extérieur. En fait il y a 2 salles à l’intérieur. Les clients à midi en semaine m’ont l’air de travailleurs du coin (plutôt bon signe!) Cuisine basée surtout sur les produits de mer poissons/poulpe et évidemment cuisine sarde. Accueil assez frais au comptoir mais serveur très bien. Prend visa/MC mais pas American Express. J’ai pris des gnocchis sardes, avec des bouts de viande. Madame des spaghettis. Très bons et surprenants (tout petits les gnocchis!). Plats énormes difficiles à finir. Au total 1 bière + 2 verres de Prosecco + 1 plat de spaghettis + un plat de Gnocchis à la viande + 2 panacottas+ 2 expressos: 45€. Ne connaissant pas les usages j’ai laissé 4€ de pourboire. Super rapport Q/P! Je recommande vivement si vous faites le même trajet que moi Porto Torres-Olbia. Il faut se garer quelque part dans la rue mais c’est vraiment un coin paumé donc facile de trouver une place. Français non parlé. WC pour hommes ouverts mais pour les femmes il faut demander une clé au comptoir (peut être une spécificité Italienne?!)

Trovandomi in Sardegna per un viaggio di lavoro, di ritorno verso Olbia decido di fermarmi a mangiare. Dopo una serie di telefonate alla ricerca di un locale tradizionale sardo, ho telefonato alla trattoria vineria Margiu' , mi dicono che fanno solo pesce ma volendo qualcosa di sardo si può avere. Arrivato a Tula , prima di entrare fuori dal locale si sente un profumo di pesce molto invitante. All'interno un bel locale semplice, servizi igienici adeguati,puliti e forniti di tutto. Ottima accoglienza nella bella saletta al piano superiore. Vedo la lavagna con i piatti del giorno perché si cucina solo sul pescato, il che mi ha convinto a mangiare il pesce. Esperienza fantastica,sublime, prodotti freschissimi tutti di ottima qualità e cucinati con passione da un grande cuoco che ama quello che fa'. Veramente un'esperienza indimenticabile, consigliato vivamente, mi spiace per la distanza che ci separa di un potere essere un cliente abituale. Prezzo che qualcuno giudicherà forse alto ma vista la qualità io trovo giusto. Merita il viaggio ne vale veramente la pena, cinque stelle sono anche poche. Complimenti a questi ragazzi.

Trovandomi in Sardegna per un viaggio di lavoro, di ritorno verso Olbia decido di fermarmi a mangiare. We took a long scenic drive to Tula to take a photo with the village sign for a friend named Tula. It was late on a quiet Tuesday afternoon but we were in luck because we discovered Trattoria Vineria Margiù! Although they are famous for seafood, they graciously created for us a vegetarian spaghetti (spicy, with fresh veggies--I ate the entire huge serving!) and a simple ham, cheese, and tomato sandwich for my mom, to fit her mood.
