Saporito — Restaurant in Turin

I was staying in an Airbnb just around the corner for a month, and over half the time, I had no idea this magnificent place existed. A friend was in search of pastries one morning, and we just happened to stumble upon it.

Immediately upon entering, we were greeted with a chorus of “buongiorno“ and “ciao” echoing from the lips of every single one of the lovely ladies behind the corner, fluttering around like wonderful butterflies to get everyone’s orders filled and make customers feel at home.

It was a beautiful experience that got me coming back for a pastry almost every morning - and everyone was always just as lovely and welcoming, and very kind to try to understand my minimal Italian.

I hadn’t tried any Italian pastries anywhere else, because I try to avoid sweets - so I have no comparison - but everything I tried was absolutely delicious and melted in your mouth.

There are also some signs on the wall that talk about the Slow Food movement, which I especially loved to see as someone who really values quality food and knowing where that food comes from.

Amazing pastry! I going there for each of my travel and it still the same quality for 4 years. You can take the breakfast there with a good selection of croissant and other, obviously good coffee. But you can also go there for a lunch, they are various plate choose (so you see what you will eat) and they will warm it up. It freshly cooked every day. I recommend also the focaccia. To finish you cannot leave without eating a "soupir" a small sweets that you can take with your coffee (or without). The personal there I very friendly...

Bar pasticceria sopravvalutato. Abbiamo ordinato 3 cornetti alla crema, 1 bombolone alla crema, 2 cappuccini, 1 latte macchiato deca,e 1 caffè. Costo totale 17,60??? Guardiamo il dettaglio dello scontrino e c'erano 1 cappuccino e 1 caffè in più. Ci danno rimborso. Al di là di questo, i cornetti a me non son piaciuti, impasto insipido, senza un po' di sale che ne esaltava il sapore.Crema che non sapeva di nulla. L'impasto del bombolone era buonissimo invece. Pulizia avrei dei dubbi, l'odore dei bicchieri in cui hanno servito l'acqua non mi piaceva molto. Latte macchiato deca, cappucci e caffè ottimi. Cameriera non molto professionale. Chiedo quali brioches avevano? Risposta? Lei cosa vuole? Se glielo sto chiedendo vuol dire che vorrei avere un idea e non so' cosa prendere. Magari pubblicizzare i vostri prodotti??? Va bene...
