Nothing American about this place aside from the wall art. The server was attentive but saying the food was bad would be an improvement. I was hoping for a local flair but not even the locals dine here. Lesson learned. I hope there food improves.

My wife and I had the burgers. The meat was gristly with lots of what I hope was cartilage. The flavor was a bit off putting, and neither of us could even finish the burgers. The fries were soft instead of crisp.
I noticed an English couple next to us did not finish there meal either, so either you were having an off day or this was a typical day at the Diner.
Only time will tell.
I have had wonderful ground beef in my many trips to Italy, admittedly in sauce and boiled dishes that were incredible and difficult if not impossible to reproduce in the states. So I do know good quality beef.
As I admit, this may have been an off day as we were only 1 of about 4 tables, and it was late in the afternoon.
Since you asked for my concerns, I see that as a true positive in an attempt to remedy any bad dining experience. As such, I would add a star because I sincerely think you want to improve or correct a bad post. Especially for other Americans that happen to see my review, but that is not possible in the Appl.
I hope you get more positive reviews in the future. If you look at my post in other location, I have retracted a bad reviews in the past. The next time I return, I may stop by for a visit and see if I was wrong, and will write a more positive review.

Read moreI've visited the place twice. Day after day. Day one we had a burger, popcorn chicken, onion rings and ceasar salad. All were tasty apart from the salad, which was underwhelming. Tonight we ordered the mix grill for two, consisting of 2 sirloin steaks, 2 burgers, 2 hotdogs, 2 4-rib rack, 2 chicken thighs fillets, zucchini, eggplant, corn on the cob, caramelised onions, bread and fries. So here it goes: Sirloin - too tough and dry Ribs - very oily, dry and lack the flavour Burger patty - really good Hot dog - tasty Chicken thighs - tasty Fries - good Bread - ok'ish Corn - nice Zucchini- okay Eggplant - not good Caramelised onions - more like onions in vinegar So this dish was less than an average. But with yesterday's dish - I gave it an average. From an atmosphere and a design perspective, this diner is awesome. It looks and feels like the US of the 50s. The waiters are on roller skates dressed like in the 50s. Last, the bathrooms for two days in a row are very dirty. The toilet seats are broken. And,...
Read moreMy wife and I had dinner there, and it was an amazing experience. The staff was outstanding: super friendly, attentive, and professional. The waitresses in classic 1950s dresses on roller skates and the waiters with red bow ties and white hats made the whole experience feel special and unique. You can really tell that the owners and managers have put their heart into creating this place. As for the food: the burgers are simply delicious! Overall, it’s not just a meal – it’s a whole experience. If you’re in Forte dei Marmi, I highly recommend visiting. Thank you to the whole team for making our evening...
