My party of five expected an upscale dining experience with our 7:30 reservation. Instead, it was clear from the start this is not a high-end restaurant.
The waitress asked for our food order immediately after we sat down. We told her we’d like to start with drinks, which is the normal flow at any proper restaurant. When we asked about cocktails, the Sommelier appeared and acted as though he couldn’t understand the simple question “Do you have gin or vodka?” His response was curt, dismissive, and he walked away.
The waitress then returned again to push for a food order, still without offering wine or drinks. There was no manager in sight. The place was nearly empty, yet the staff seemed determined to rush us out rather than serve us.

La stagionalità ha permesso di affiancarci dei porcini fritti che erano perfetti, senza salature inutili e di qualità senz’altro a km zero, visto che alle spalle del Forte ci sono terreni boschivi baciati dal microclima del mare. Bastava questo. Ma il servizio molto curato e la preparazione dei camerieri anche sulla lista vini (volutamente pochi ma ottimi) han fatto da corolla alla serata. Per dare 10 cum Laude aspetto la seconda visita ma dopo il dessert ero tentato di darlo già stasera. Il cheesecake era davvero un capolavoro di sapori.
