La Casa del Piero — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

Such a cute spot. The interior looks straight out of a storybook, we loved it. One of the owners, Sophia, waited on us and she was so lovely and passionate about her work! The food was delicious – we ordered the ragu ravioli, bacon gnocchi, pork with veggies, and tiramisu. Everything was terrific, but the highlights were the gnocchi – it was tiny, delicate, with immaculate texture; the pork and veggies – the pork was moist and perfectly cooked and the veggies were fresh and amazing. We asked what special seasoning she put on them and it was just salt and olive oil (we still can’t believe it, they were too good!). And lastly, the tiramisu was small batch in an adorable jar, delicious...

About the most friendly and welcoming personnel I have met during my current trip in Italy. Plus, the young waitress is proficient in English language.

Siamo stati a cena per un compleanno, una tavolata da 20 persone da fare accapponare la pelle a qualsiasi ristoratore. Siamo stati benissimo. La cena, concordata precedentemente con menù fisso, è stata servita con tempismo perfetto e i piatti erano squisiti. Risotto con funghi saporito, cotto al punto giusto e ricco nel contenuto e tagliata di Fassona spettacolare. Proposta di vino perfettamente in linea con il prezzo, davvero onesto. Non sono né un parente né un amico, ma essendo una persona con 10 anni di esperienza nel settore condivido con piacere il mio stupore davanti a tanta qualità e professionalità dimostrata da un ragazzo di 23 anni, la compagna e la famiglia in un posto così modesto ma al contempo pulito, curato, accogliente. Non posso aggiungere niente se non gli auguri per un futuro pieno di soddisfazioni, che sono sicuro ripagheranno il coraggio e la passione di questi giovani ragazzi....
