My husband has been dropping in here for 20 years. Never again. It may have changed hands. WORST Tagliata I have ever had in 32 years living in tbe area. Impossible to eat, just mostly oversalted gristle. Granted I should have just sent it back but didnt want more of the same so only said something when plates were cleared. No reaction at all from waiter. Told owner as we were leaving..waiter obviously hadnt bothered....met with surly aggressive attitude saying I should have said something during the meal. Pizza requires a hot oven. Gorgeous views, fancy furnishings, and a precious wine list do not make up for an inadequate oven. Pizza here is thin, crispy and delightful. And a very good value, as is the house wine. The outdoor dining under a grape arbor offers a great, romantic atmosphere with no pretense. When guests arrive, this is where we go. Came for a lunch and enjoyed it so much. Located in a quiet street with a beautiful garden. Seems like a truly local spot. Hand written menus, tasty home made food makes you feel like you came to someone’s home for a home cooked meal. Had bruschetta with lardo, pizza buffala, pici with ragu and panna cotta.
