Locanda Guelfo — Restaurant in Unione di Comuni della Romagna Forlivese

Finally we went to visit the Locanda in Tredozio. It is situated in the old historic centre of Tredozio which is nice to have a walk in the evening. La Locanda looks really nice but we had to wait really long to even for a place where you would spend more time. It took very long to get a menu and about an hour to get our first plate. This might have been because of a table of about twelve people, but those things should be dealt with better. The staff was okay to friendly but didn't give the feeling of attention for the customers. We had cappelletti with parmesan which was really good and tagliatelle with mushrooms, which was okay. Half an hour later we received a side dish of melanzane al forno which were okay and a portion of castrato which I was told was exceptional. Unfortunately all portions were small and not balanced with the price. The prices might be in line with other restaurants in the region, but the portions are not. And in Romagna people go eating out expecting good portions. I am glad we finally tried out the place but wouldn't really recommend it. Probably would go quicker to one of the pizzeria/...

We had, once again, a very pleasant stay, for two nights in this cozy and romantic hotel. The lovely rooms are clean and each bedroom has a certain color theme. During earlier visits we stayed in the blue room. This time it was the golden /yellow room and last time when we were there with friends, our friends stayed in the green room. I love the decoration and colors of the rooms. The hotel is situated in a mideavel building in the center of the quiet village. There is always a bottle of mineral water in the room. Good shower, not very big but OK, beds are good, nice matrasses, not too soft. We slept well. Service is excellent. Marta and the other staff members are kind and eager to give you all the information you require. Tredozio is a nice old, small and quiet village. We really feel at home and welcome there. ||The hotel also has a perfect restaurant where they serve delicious regional food and wine. Highly...
