The place is gorgeous, updated and clean, super cute. Good for family or a romantic date night. We were greeted fast and the staff was kind and friendly. We didn't get the right bottle of wine, but it was okay (reserve vs. nobile). We ordered the steak menu. Starter came fast and served super cute plus it was delicious. The focaccia truly is the best. The meat comes raw with your own little grill. We also got oven potatoes and veggies. The potatoes were tasty but soaked in oil. The veggie plate was scarce but also tasty. The meat was delicious, fantastic. After the main course we lost service. Our plates sat dirty with us for a long time. 30 minutes even. I finally got the attention of staff to ask for dessert. Cheesecake. Felt like it came from a box. So we finish. They tried to charge us for the more expensive bottle of wine that we didn't get so we had to get that all resolved. At least they were nice about it. Also, and this note is for the owner: we paid for the steak menu which includes a glass of wine. We wanted a bottle instead. Here's the problem, we paid for an entire bottle of wine AND for the glass with the menu that we did not receive. I suggest you add a menu price senza wine OR subtract the price of the wine from the menu from the bottle. Make sense? Basically, now we're due two glasses of wine - we paid for them. Overall, despite the long wait between the main course and dessert and wine debacle, it's a nice place for dinner and the food was good. We still recommend. Prepare for €50...

The staff could not do enough to accommodate us, we felt very cared for. Super friendly and very attentive but also very relaxed. But my god the food was something else. Genuinely one of the best meals we had eaten in Liguria and maybe even Italy. We have wined and dined all around the world and been to some amazing restaurants but this was up there with the best. The focaccia was to die for, freshly made in the wood fired oven meters from where we sat. The selection of meats was mouth watering. Then the main course we ordered the steak (which I think was a florentine steak) and the flambé pasta which was beyond delicious. You were served a small grill to fry you own cuts of steak to your liking which was an amazing experience. An the flavours were decadent. The flambé pasta was an event in itself being served out of the cheese wheel and was heavenly. All the sides that came with it were also delightful. And the desert was divine. I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant and hotel. I will definitely be returning. I also have to say the staff were amazing. The most disappointing part of the evening was the elderly host with short grey hair. It seemed like tourists are not welcome here which was strongly shown by her attitude. For example, the meat was served already cold. She did not provide us with plaits and also missed a fork and knife. We asked her for Coca-Cola, but she forgot about it as well, even after the second reminder, and didn't seem to care whether we paid or not... But at the same time, she was so kind and friendly to locals and carefully brought everything that they needed in a second. I am not even mentioning general...
